Scholarship Opportunities

Step-Up Scholarship

This scholarship is K-12 is based on your income and the number of persons living in your household. Foster Care students automatically are accept for scholarship.

This is a Florida tax credit scholarship offered to students entering kindergarten through 12th grade who are currently enrolled in a private school, or any student coming from a public school. Students who are current in Foster Care or wards of the state automatically qualify for the Step Up For Students Scholarship. There is a specific time frame to apply for Step Up. GARDINER SCHOLARSHIP (PLSA)

The Gardiner Scholarship is for students who are Florida residents three years old through 12th grade in an eligible Florida private school or home education program who have been diagnosed with a specific disability, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, etc. To see a complete list of the disabilities and to learn more about this scholarship please visit their website. John McKay Scholarship

The John McKay Scholarship is offered by the State of Florida to students who are *any student currently enrolled in public school and have an active IEP (Individual Education Plan) from the public school system or county.

In order to get this scholarship, the parent must file a Notice of Intent and follow the instructions provided. Information regarding the John McKay Scholarship is available at Florida Department of Education or 1-800-447-1636. For exisiting Mckay scholarship reciepents contact me the number.

Hope Scholarship

Students in kindergarten through grade 12 who has been subjected to an incident of battery; harassment; hazing; bullying; kidnapping; physical attack; robbery; sexual offenses, harassment, assault, or battery; threat or intimidation; or fighting at school the opportunity to transfer to another public school with capacity or enroll in an approved private school under the Hope Scholarship.

Family Empowerment Scholarship

This is a tuition-assistance scholarship program based on income level. Children in grades beyond kindergarten must have attended a public school the year prior to application to be considered for this scholarship. If you would like more information about this scholarship check out this site.
